Pensacola Quilts for Kids is a charity organization dedicated to providing love and a sense of security, warmth, and comfort to children in our local community who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need by gifting them with new, handmade quilts. Our quilts are lovingly crafted with care and given to children in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies and more. We are always looking for new volunteers to join us in this mission! Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization and the quilts they create truly make a difference. The children and their caregivers love them!

Our Mission
Quilts for Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming fabric into patchwork quilts that bring warmth an love to children facing serious illness, trauma, abuse and natural disasters. We strive to uplift the spirits of those facing adversity and bring a sense of comfort during challenging times.
Our Vision
Besides donating quilts and supplies, we aim to inspire sewists of all levels to spend time together during our regularly scheduled sewing gatherings. Our vision is to build a supportive community of volunteers where the act of quilting becomes not only a way to give to those in need, but a joyful and merry gathering of like-minded souls, who can enjoy socializing while they stitch, serving not only as a way to give something truly beautiful to local children in difficult situations, but also to enhance the lives of the volunteers themselves.
